Umberto Giovanni Maggion arrives in Brazil, from Italy, full of dreams and will to work and make it big here

Our conception: we were founded in Rua dos Italianos, Bom Retiro, in São Paulo. Initially, we made parts for industrial machines, retreading equipment for sugar mills, weaving and coffee processing.

We started manufacturing the first tires and inner tubes only for motorcycles. Soon after to produce a very used vehicle for that time: the horse drawn cart.

At the beginning of the decade, the peak of the development of the automotive industry in Brazil, we began to build our first large industry in Guarulhos/SP, in an area of 37,501m2.

The 1970s were devoted to the sedimentation and expansion of the company. We invested in new facilities, machines, processes, state-of-the-art technology, as well as a highly dedicated team.

We were pioneers in the Brazilian industry manufacturing extra-wide tires for trucks. In 1997, we were certified by INMETRO and, in 1998, by ISO 9001.

The new millennium brought numerous achievements. We started the production of large-sized traction tires for tractors and agricultural machinery and also had many other victories.

There is an important automobilistic event called Salão Duas Rodas which was characterized by the invasion of European brands and scooter launches for the domestic market. We couldn't be left out of this one.

We are a 'big company', as was the goal and wish of our founder. We conquered much more than that. We are a large and genuinely Brazilian automotive tire company with competitive standards in technology, product lines, environmental and quality certifications.

2021 was a challenging year, we worked hard and achieved all sales records. Our employees are helping to build a great story each day. The goals and wishes of our founder, Giovanni Maggion, have once again been fulfilled. Let 2022 come, the year we will complete 89 years of history.

2022 was a year of countless achievements! We were nominated for the third time for the Reclame Aqui award, and we renewed the ISO 9001:2015 certificate, which defines requirements to ensure our product quality and customer's satisfaction standards. We were at the Agrishow 2022, presenting the benefits of our products to agribusiness. May 2023 come, the year in which we’ll complete 92 years of history!

We have completed the historic milestone of 90 years. We are proud to be the largest 100% brazilian tire brand. On the roads, in the fields and in the cities... More than nine decades making part of the roads of millions of Brazilians throughout the country.
